An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 3 Health Care Support Casting Service in the Emergency Care to support the nursing team

The post holder will be responsible for the safe, optimum operation of the casting services in the Emergency Department.


Work ranges from routine emergency casting to complex and precision use of a full range of materials for the design and construction of custom-built casts.


The Post holder will be able to work closely with other Orthopaedic Department Registered Nursing and Medical staff and participate in the structured tuition of casting principles and skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
