Exciting new Finance Manager( ACA/CIMA/ACCA) opportunity for a household UK brand in Bedfordshire.

This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified finance professional with proven commercial finance experience looking for their first management position.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You will business partner the leadership team to drive forward profit and growth and minimise risk through producing in depth and detailed analysis on performance, production of sales plan targets and insight. You will ensure a constant focus on assessingcurrent performance and recommending appropriate actions to improve long term sustainable profit.
  • You will take accountability for key cost inputs and ensure all costs are appropriately challenged and fully understood. This will also involve maintaining a strong relationship with the overseas finance team to ensure accuracy of cost base assumptions.

You will support the development of effective pricing strategies and support the trading teams in determining optimum selling prices for each business area.


  • You will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and reporting of each area and the production of end to end P&Ls. You will be accountable for all areas of commercial performance and provide FP&A and your stakeholders in the business withcomprehensive insight into the monthly performance, tracking and highlighting any risks and opportunities as they arise
  • You will take ownership of the 3year strategic plan and support each business with financial analysis of key issues and alternatives.
  • You will ensure detailed revenue and cost base forecasting across each business. You will review, on an ongoing basis, the accuracy of our standard cost assumptions in margins and regularly update in a controlled manner. You will take accountability formargin integrity, working closely with the MI and Commercial Pricing teams to ensure KPI reporting is accurate, timely and is meeting the needs of the businesses.
  • You will support the business in driving profit initiatives and maintaining an appropriate challenge on costs. You will manage the relationship for all related overseas costs and revenues to ensure accurate forecasts with transparency of assumptions.
