    Job Description

    We are seeking a confident Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work full-time at Cygnet Lodge Salford. This rewarding role offers excellent career prospects, focusing on quality care to achieve our goals.

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Work full-time, 42 hours a week (day and night shifts)
    • Lead an allocated team of nurses and support workers to ensure effective care allocation
    • Supervise junior staff, teaching and guiding them by example
    • Collaborate with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
    • Attend training and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
    • Conduct appraisals, audits, interviews, and disciplinaries
    • Maintain individual care plans under NMC guidelines, collectively with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals
    • Coordinate, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient programs of care
    • Stay informed about the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices
    • Deputize in a clinical lead role
    • Foster patient recovery, monitoring, managing, and reducing risk
    • Promote service user independence and empower staff
