Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate infection prevention nurse specialist with excellent organisation and people skills to lead our dynamic and progressive infection prevention service.

The infection prevention service works to provide expert advice, training and guidance to ensure practice is safe and effective within our services and also works to ensure the organisation meets all the legal and regulatory requirements of the Health Care Act and CQC standards.

You will be a a visible leader and while you will be based at headquarters you will be provided with mobile equipment to enable you to travel to work at our various service and administration locations and to work from home on occasions.

You will need to be have a degree and/or post graduate level or equivalent experience in infection prevention and control and recent experience of working at band 8a or above as an infection control nurse specialist in an acute hospital or community setting.
