We are working with a large school that supports pupils aged 11-16 with severe learning difficulties and disabilities The school are looking for a support worker to assist the pupils with their class work, meal times and general support and care.


The successful support work would work pupils all have a diagnosis of some form of SEN, including Autism, PMLD and other complex needs.

The school's aim is to provide a stimulating, inspirational environment for all to achieve.

The campus is equipped with specialist support and facilities that meet the individual requirements of the pupils to allow them to flourish.

This includes, brightand attractive classrooms, ICT rooms, theatre, recording studios and hydrotherapy pool, to allow pupils to fully explore their talents and shine in those areas they most enjoy.


The ideal Support Worker would have:

  • Experience working with additional needs
  • A passion for supporting vulnerable people
  • A calm and patient personality
  • Adaptability to new situations
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to get one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
