An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join the Finance team.Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Produce and process monthly payroll, including processing changes for all employees across multiple partners within the Museum Studio group.
- Process weekly timesheets and update T&A system.
- Monthly submission of data to HMRC i.e. PAYE & NI contributions.
- Undertake payroll year end, including production of relevant documentation i.e. P11 & P60.
- Address payroll queries from employees.
- Act as main point of contact for pensions, including undertaking monthly submissions and enrolling employees.
- Support the wider finance team as required.
- Strong payroll experience, both processing and reporting;
- CIPP would be advantageous, or willingness to study;
- Knowledge of pensions and salary sacrifice schemes;
- Understanding of payroll legislation;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent organisation skills with ability to prioritise effectively;
- Experience of other areas of finance would be advantageous.
