The Role
You will play a vital role in the HSEQ and CI team's success.

You will assist with the certification process for ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 compliance through the full completion of the organisations internal audits.


You will be responsible for driving improvements in factory '5S', conducting 5S internal audits and ensuring training and communication records are comprehensive and complete for all employees.

In addition to this, you will also provide cover for the Quality Technician's on site during holidays and absences and will oversee the general administration of the Quality Control area, to ensure records of tests and 1st offs are comprehensive and correctly filed


Duties will include (but are not limited to): -

  • Perform 5S audits and deliver 5S improvements working with area owners to deliver improved 5S scores
  • Perform IMS audits and follow up on identified nonconformances
  • Perform induction training and onthejob assessments to ensure all employees are trained, competent, and records verifying competency exist
  • Communicate risk assessments, safe systems of work, procedures, alerts, etc, ensuring sign offs are obtained and recorded
  • Provide cover (6am to 6pm) for shift Quality Control teams in the event of absence or holidays
  • Be proficient in testing, measurement and certification activities
  • Ensure all documentation in the Quality Control area is comprehensive and correct
  • Provide updates on KPIs in the daily pulse meetings
  • Support occasional offsite travel and customer visits
  • Carryout any other reasonable tasks and requests in support of the HSEQ & CI Manager and delivery of HSEQ & CI function objectives.

Required Skills:


  • Qualified internal auditor, or equivalent experience
  • Experience using software such as InTouch, IPLQ, & IFS
  • Fork Lift Truck license and drivers license
  • Ability to write clear reports e.g audit reports
  • Competent with monitoring and measuring devices and inspection procedures
  • Knowledge of bin test procedures.
  • Experience of providing effective training
  • Ability to use Word, Excel and Outlook to a good standard.
  • An understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Strong communication, written and oral skills, with the ability to work well as part of a multi disciplinary team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of leading OEE improvement activities/projects and delivering measurable results is also desirable
