Our Client are looking to expand there team in Belper with a new Production Engineer.

Client Details

We are currently working with a leading Manufacturing organisation in Belper, the company is the second-largest European manufacturer in this sector.

Description

The successful applicant will work within the department that is responsible for all

- current model, new product introduction, engineering, and continuous improvement
- activities within the plant.

You will be part of a team of engineers collaborating across functions, from Production,
Quality, Supply Chain, and maintenance.
Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring

- production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives are achieved.

Participation in the Daily Startup/Accountability meeting as required.
Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production.
Manage and implement production IT improvement projects across site.
Support electropneumatic production test equipment.
Working with NPI Project engineers to implement new products to existing and new

- production lines.

Profile

Computer literate

Microsoft and AutoCAD
Understanding of design and production costs including waste, downtime scrap and rework
Experience of 5 S
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
