A leading optical lens manufacturer based in Birmingham are looking for a full time Quality Control Technician to join the team.

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible the final inspection of lenses due to be released to customers.

Quality Control Technician - Role

Working with a leading lens manufacturer who supply high quality lenses to Opticians across the UK
Inspect finished orders to the higher of company standards
Maintain and calibrate focimeters
Be able to work to KPI's to support the service to customers
Be proactive in identifying quality concerns
Work with the glazing team to ensure repeat issues are identified and communicated
Reject and reorder simple jobs to ensure a seamless process for rejected jobs
Feedback to glazers on any issues identified
Working 37.5 hours a week
Salary up to 25K

Two different shift patterns available;
Bi weekly shift pattern 8am to 4pm and then 10am to 6pm
Alternate Sats
OR 12 hours shifts 7.30am to 8pm 2 days on 2 days off (Not Sundays)
