Location:
Newark


Shift:
Monday to Friday.

05:00 - 11:00


Role


To assist the Transport Managers and Transport Operations Manager in delivering operational excellence by being the first point of contact for the drivers.


Main Duties

  • First Point of Contact for the drivers
  • Debrief drivers
  • Managing the POD return process ensuring KPI measures are met
  • Vehicle checks, spot checks and driver cycle checks
  • Driver worksheets are completed and received on time.
  • Capture, reporting on 'Near miss' and incidents, ensuring paper work and systems completed.
  • Updating the notice boards with WTD weekly information.

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Exceptional planning, organizational and prioritising skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail/accuracy
  • Flexible attitude and approach
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word and Outlook) with the ability to learn new systems
  • A flexible teambased approach

Experience

  • Administration experience in a transport environment
  • Thorough and detailed understand of systems; Microsoft etc.
  • Transport or fleet office experience
  • Working in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

  • A good standard of formal education

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£18,028.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
