SALARY:
£22,652 per annum

HOURS:
36 hours per week

Come join our team working to help change the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the Swindon area.

Ranked by Best Companies as the 8th best charity to work for in the UK, we support survivors of modern slavery who have been abused and exploited, by implementing individualised plans and strategies to enable them to transform their lives.

This service in the Swindon area is a male safe house.

It is one of ten safe houses across England providing shelter and support to 133 modern slavery survivors every night.

As Night Welfare Worker you will ensure the safe house is safe and secure by working waking nights from the hours of 9pm - 9am or hours as agreed by the Service Manager.

You will carry out regular internal and external checks of the premises throughout the shift.

You will assess any out of hour referrals and welcome new clients, who often arrive in the early hours of the morning having been rescued from their situations only hours previously.

You will also complete initial inductions for clients arriving at the safe house.

You will be educated to level 3 or above or have suitable experience supporting vulnerable people, desirable NVQ3 Health and Social Care (Adults).
