Description

Role Purpose

  • To develop & implement best practices (cost, quality, benefits) for the successful delivery of programmes of work and projects to stakeholders across the business.
  • To provide reports to the client and functional management to demonstrate current status and future plans to address and manage change.
  • To own and manage the Quality Management System and Compliance desk
  • To deliver operational reporting

Role Summary

  • Lead the PMO, including the Compliance desk and Continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation
  • Develop and implement a strategy for the PMO to assist in the business, meeting or exceeding its forward strategy
  • Functional Management of the Compliance Desk, project managers, project engineers, projects support and planning
  • Development of the PMO & Compliance desk as process and procedure owner, ensuring the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables
  • Head the risk management function
  • Responsible for improving project delivery, processes, systems and guidance
  • Ensure crossprogramme dependencies are managed
  • Coordinate best practice and ensure lessons learned are logged
  • Define and embed project control and governance
  • Provide support to project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting; financial management; change management across the PMO
  • Prepare regular status reporting to both clients and within all levels of the CBUL business (including parents)
  • Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilised
  • Continuous improvement
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Experience Required

Desirable Qualifications

  • Leadership / Management / Engineering qualifications to degree level
  • Qualifications in programme and change management
  • Experience within a regulated environment
  • High level IT skills in Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and MS project

£70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
