£24k pro rata - Permanent - Part Time - Leeds City Centre/ Remote
Hours:15 hours/week flexible on days and times between Monday and Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

- As Mable Therapy's bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a company's financial records, including recording financial transactions and preparing financial statements.
- Recording financial transactions: including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts on Xero
- Reconciling accounts: ensuring that all financial records are accurate by reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable: managing the company's accounts payable and receivable, which involves tracking and paying bills, sending invoices, and collecting payments from customers.
- Managing payroll: providing information to a payroll processor and making payments upon receipt of payslips
- Generating financial statements: Preparing financial statements for quarterly and annual board meetings
- Monitoring financial performance: analysing financial data to identify trends and help business owners make informed decisions.
Experience:
- 23 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience working with accounting software, such as Xero
Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets and other financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information
