Work: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some antisocial periods required (late evenings)

Synergy are recruiting for a
Sensory Panel Technician to work with their Trained sensory panels and based at our client site.
The sensory Panel Technician role focuses on supporting the project management and execution of sensory projects and supporting with development and training of the panels with excellent preparation ensuring the projects can be executed efficiently on timein full.
The duties of this position will require / include:
Essential Skills and Duties:
- Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to function independently as well as work within a team.
- Ensure orderly preparation of all Trained Sensory Panel projects (sourcing samples and liaising with the project teams to understand preparation requirements)
- Updating project files that can be easily accessed by the wider sensory team.
- Able to adhere to specified governance procedures in the handling of tobacco products.
- Colead the panel when required and provide cover for panel supervision.
- Support with recruitment screening sessions and partner with the panel leader in onboarding and ensuring new panel members are integrated.
- Strong computer skills including competency across Microsoft Office.
Desirable Skills and Duties:
- Lab experience
- Experience with data processing
- Knowledgeable around adherence to scientific test methods in providing robust data.
- Basic understanding and experience of sensory methodologies, panel recruitment, maintenance and management.
- Experience with sensory software (Compusense).
