My client is an established private school looking for an experienced
Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join their expanding Estates and Facilities team at their Central London Site.

The School is looking for an experienced individual in repairs and maintenance of plant and technical facilities-related equipment. This role will be responsible for first-line support and hosting contractors also technical support personnel when visitingthe School.


Duties include:

  • To analyse and problem solve technical breakdowns of the building's services and fabric, undertaking repairs as appropriate to a good standard.
  • Carryout regular building fabric checks, logging and repairing defects inhouse or through the City Surveyors Department framework contractors.
  • Prepare and oversea the implementation of the planned maintenance programme for the facilities team
  • Make regular inspections of M&E plant and machinery, including handheld tools to ensure necessary safe operation and that the legislative requirements are met regarding powered equipment, machinery, chemicals, Portable appliance testing, etc.
  • To ensure all fire systems are regularly maintained and tested, appropriate records and all related policies and procedures are reviewed
  • Maintain all building services plant, including electrical distribution, lighting, heating and ventilation, hot and coldwater systems, fire and intruder alarms

Salary:
£37,500 - £42,000 (dependant on experience)


The role will initially be on a 1 year FTC, but highly likely to be made permanent throughout this period.


Hours
:
Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
