Location:
Hybrid working with 5 days per fortnight in the Customer Service Centre (Leek, Staffordshire) and the remaining time remotely.
Employment type:
Full-time, permanent position.
Salary:
£25,000 per annum, plus benefits
Working hours: 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Job Purpose & Scope
The focus of the role is to support the Marketing team by producing visuals, supporting with our social media presence and updating our website through a bespoke content management system.
The role involves working closely with other colleagues within Marketing to support in all areas, including campaign delivery, event co-ordination and delivery of internal projects as required by the Marketing and Communications Manager.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Main areas of work_
- Support the designs required by the Marketing team by producing visuals, using Canva, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Support the Senior Marketing Executive to ensure the Societys social media presence is maintained effectively to enhance brand awareness and reach.
- Updating our website using a bespoke content management system.
- Support the Marketing team in the delivery, coordination and set up of events, all associated collateral required (including graphics and video work) for sponsorships, partnerships, the Society AGM, and other events as required.
- Administer the Head Office Conference Centre booking system.
- Coordinate and promote take up of the volunteering scheme for staff. This includes networking with organisations in the local community.
- Coordinate nominations and communications for monthly winners of the Living our Values recognition scheme.
- Support the creation and cascade of marketing campaigns and other communications relating to all marketing activity within the team.
- Ensure that all external communications and other collateral is authorised for print or publication in line with the Marketing Approval Control Framework by liaising with authorised internal parties who will ensure the Society does not breach regulatory requirements regarding financial promotion issues.
- Proactively drive best practice and process improvement making recommendations where appropriate.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing and social media platforms
Experience
Essential:
- Experience of producing graphic design work, video and other material using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva & Microsoft Office
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience of update websites using a bespoke CMS system.
- Experience in successful event coordination
- Experience in drafting accurate copy for websites/social/blogs/press releases and printed materials
Desirable:
- Able to demonstrate understanding of PR best practices
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent graphic design skills including, Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and deliver successful outcomes to tight deadlines across multiple requests with the ability to prioritise and be proactive
- Ability to react quickly to tasks which come Left field and act accordingly to deliver solutions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread to a hi
