Due to the continual growth and success across Ascend are seeking an accounts/senior accounts assistant vacancy due to the reoccurring need to add new heads to the team to accommodate for our future development.


Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with all general accounts tasks, working within our busy clients accounts team, you duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Weekly contractor payment runs
  • Creating and logging invoices
  • Scanning invoices
  • Processing and paying staff expense claims
  • Debt reporting
  • Reporting on cash levels
  • Managing a mailbox
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Ad Hoc duties to support the wider finance team and team leader

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Computer literate
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • High levels of integrity with a can do attitude
  • Highly accurate with an eye for detail
  • Good numerical and problem solving ability


This role would suit someone with prior accounts experience or someone with a strong customer service skillset who is keen to learn and develop their skillset within a busy and supportive accounts team.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
