NonStop Care is currently working with a leading charity for children and young people in order to help them recruit for a Deputy Children's Home Managers role.


The role starts as a Deputy Manager, with the opportunity to become a Registered Manager with the help of their comprehensive in-house training.


Responsibilities:


The Deputy Manager will assist in safeguarding and ensuring that every child and young person receives high quality care as measured by Ofsted in the social care common inspection framework.

The role is mostly to lead and support a professional team of staffcommitted to transforming young lives and creating positive outcomes.

Requirements:


To be eligible for this role, you must have a Degree in Social Work or equivalent or at least Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.


You must have at least two years' recent experience of working with children/young people who are at risk in a residential or community based setting.
