Corporate Fundraising Coordinator
Salary:
£23,000 (per annum, FTE)
Hours:
hpw negotiable
This role is available for hybrid/remote working and must have access to a car and are able to commute and travel around Bishop Auckland and Teesside.
We are expanding our Fundraising department and seeking a Corporate Fundraising Coordinator to join our dynamic and friendly team.
We are looking for an engaging and ambitious Corporate Fundraising Coordinator to lead and develop partnerships, whilst maintaining and stewarding existing relationships.
Role Responsibilities
-Increase corporate fundraising income from new and existing partners with a plan to grow income.
- Undertake research into potential corporate partners, learning to understand their motivations and criteria for choosing charity partners/ charity of the year.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of suitable companies to approach.
- Maintain and develop account management of corporate relationships.
- Develop an internal network of peers who you can assist with the promotion of the charity to our corporate supporters.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify relevant products, events and campaigns that will be of interest to existing and potential corporate partners.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
-Experience in a target driven sales/ business development or fundraising role.
- Exceptional communication and networking skills with proven ability to develop relationships.
- Ability to develop relationships with new and current partners and corporate supporters.
- Excellent organisation skills and high performing under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to work in a team and to collaborate to ensure objectives are met.
- Willingness to travel around our region and to attend meetings and events outside of usual business hours.
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Corporate fundraising experience within the charity sector.
- Successful experience securing event sponsorship and/or winning Charity of the Year partnerships.
- Good negotiation skills.
