Responsibilities:
As a Technical Consultant - Hydro Energy, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and consulting services to our clients and internal teams, focusing on hydroelectric power generation
Your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing client requirements and providing technical consultation on hydroelectric power projects, including feasibility studies, site assessments, and project planning.
Developing, reviewing, and optimizing hydroelectric power plant designs, ensuring that they meet technical, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Providing technical support during the construction, commissioning, and operation phases of hydroelectric projects.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of hydro energy projects.
Conducting research and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hydroelectric power generation technologies.
Preparing technical reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings to clients and stakeholders.
Supporting business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in the preparation of proposals and bids.
Providing training and mentoring to junior staff members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of [5-7] years of experience in the hydro energy industry, with a focus on the design, development, and operation of hydroelectric power plants.
Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to hydroelectric power projects.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is a plus.

Salary:
£52,540.00-£55,957.00 per year
