Full time, permanent position available with an immediate start, or part time available if required.

Please if you don't have an experience in electronics, cable assembly, soldering and understanding electronic drawings don't apply. We are looking for someone with experience to join our team who can hit the ground running.


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced wiring technician / electronics assembly technician to join our team, you must have significant experience working within an electrical assembly production environment.

We build assemblies to IPC standards which include crimping, soldering and building to specific drawing requirements.

The Job:

  • Have extensive proven experience of wiring systems including building cable assemblies
  • Have great attention to detail skills
  • Be able to read, understand and interpret various customer drawings and be competent in developing robust processes that result in production building product on a 'Right first time, every time' basis
  • Have a sound ability to work with a wide range of cable sizes from 32 AWG up to 8 AWG or larger
  • Have a sound ability to work with various wire types including screened cables, multicore, ribbon and coax
  • Be competent in soldering and crimping using various crimp tools and machinery.
  • Be experienced in testing assemblies. This should include continuity, shorts, insulation resistance and functional testing.
  • Be able to train others and share your wealth of experience
  • Be safety minded and ensure good quality workmanship that upholds company standards.
  • Be able to work calmly under pressure and have a 'can do' approach
  • Work as part of a team or by themselves using their own initiative.
  • Be driven to improve production processes to reduce costs and/or reduce risk of rejects
  • IPC certification would be a distinct advantage

Essential attributes:

  • Honesty and reliability with an excellent work ethic and a great attitude
  • Proven experience of working with wiring systems
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

£11.50-£13.00 per hour
