About Job:

As a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations of SecuriCare mail order/on-line pharmacy. You will be professional and ethical thereby ensuring we are continually providing outstanding patient care and customer service.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • You will be supporting the daytoday operations of the mail order/ online pharmacy.
  • Processing prescriptions (item labelling, product ordering, item dispensing)
  • Stock ordering, checking in and out of stock.
  • Talking to patients on the phone and providing advice and support regarding the ordering of medications.
  • Taking the time to understand the patients' needs and providing them with a great service.
  • Ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labelled, prior to being checked by the Pharmacist.
  • Endorsing prescription items.
  • Date checking.
  • Support the end of month procedures.
  • Liaising with surgeries and following up on incorrect/missing prescriptions.
  • Liaising with Patient Services and Distribution departments to arrange delivery of prescription medicines to patients.
  • Liaising with other departments, as appropriate, to ensure efficient service is given to patients.
  • Maintain records of daily, weekly, and monthly pharmacy statistics and ensure that an accurate and timely claim for all activities is made at each month end.
  • Keeping up to date with current pharmacy dispensing practices.
  • Establishing and maintaining good internal/external relationships.
  • To maintain a clean, safe environment within the pharmacy.
  • Adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to the above.
  • You will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
  • Perform any other task reasonably requested by the Head of Supply Chain or the Pharmacist Manager.

About You:


  • Qualified Dispenser
  • Experience of Working on Pharmacy Dispensing Systems
  • Experience of working on MS Office
  • Keen Eye for Detail with a High Level of Accuracy
  • Ideally have Some Experience of Mail Order/Online Pharmacy.
  • Able to Satisfy the Necessary Fitness to Practice Requirements
  • Excellent Communication and Proven Organisational Skills

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
