**Civil 3D Technician
Manchester City Centre
£30,000 - £40,000****An opportunity for a Civil 3D Technician in Manchester has arisen working for an independent Civil, Structural and Geo Engineering Consultancy. You will be working across a diverse range of private sectors, as well as a number of public sector frameworksthat ensure security of the work you will be doing and longevity in the role. You must have at least some experience in the use of AutoCAD Civils 3D.
The company is a nationwide firm with 5 UK offices and over 150 staff across the country. Their 10th floor office has views across the City Centre and is home to 15 engineers and technicians and have a flexible working policy of 2 days per week from home ifwanted.**For this role, the ideal Civil 3D Technician will ideally:

Be HNC/HND
qualified in Civil Engineering or a similar course.
Have 3 years' experience using Civil 3D in a professional capacity
Have experience working inside a consultancy in a similar position
Some limited design experience on roads and drainage (training on the use of Microdrainage will be provided)

This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced engineers in one of the areas best consultancies.

You will be involved in the assistance in the preparation of drainage drawings for Commercial, Residential and Industrial developments in AutoCAD and Civil3D.

You will also have the opportunity to train in the use of calculations and more advanced engineering duties.

The only essential experience you require for this role is working with Civil 3D, ideally, within a Civil Engineering Environment.

The role will be centred around created modelling/designs, produced whilst working alongside Civil Engineers, for private roadand drainage developments that are in accordance with Section 38s, 104s and 278s.
