Position Summary:


The Third Party Supplier Lead has overall responsibility for implementing procurement, expediting, inventory and supplier management for the Third Party business for their designated counties.

In this role, you will be accountable for leading a team of Buyers and Supplier Specialists while providing continuous improvement in the processes and operational plans in collaboration with the Third Party Supplier Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


Planning, Execution and Leadership

  • Responsible for operational planning and execution, as well as local execution of the European Third Party supplier strategy
  • Embed "the customer perspective" in problem resolution and use PPI methods to drive favorable outcome as well as efficiently ensuring that processes stay aligned at a panEuropean level
  • Assist their team in resolving issues or concerns
  • Work with internal groups such as Portfolio Management, Regulatory, Finance, IT, etc. as needed

being accountable for the engagement, performance, compensation and the development of the team

  • Support other activities as assigned

Supplier Management

  • Directly responsible for handling the key Third Party Supplier relationships as assigned and all related tasks
  • Leading local Supplier Specialists, including training, developing and maintaining the team to work in a fastpaced and adaptive environment focused on exceeding customer expectations
  • Support revenue and margin expansion opportunities

Order Management

  • Leading local Third Party Buyers, which includes training, developing and maintaining the team to work in a fastpaced and constantly evolving environment focused on exceeding customer expectations
  • Achieve department goals by reviewing, defining and implementing effective procurement processes and workflows
  • Track and publish metrics to measure performance
  • Responsible for Third Party inventory for the designated countries
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across a broad spectrum of issues including but not limited to:
  • Credit holds, payment terms, credit review for large customer orders

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


Knowledge

  • Relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.

Experience

  • Validated leadership experience within a customercentric environment
  • Demonstrate commercial supplier management experience
  • Strong technical skills, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Powerpoint.

  • Ability to work to tight time frames and demonstrate flexibility with priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with management regarding developments and progress
  • Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new technologies and selftrain when appropriate

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of local processes and procedures vital to complete the role
