If you join Ciceley Commercials Ltd as a Trainee Truck Sales Consultant, you will be supported through the Mercedes-Benz FASTTrack Programme.

This programme is designed to train and develop you to be the best in the business.

The one-year programme includes both on the job learning and formal training to provide you a fantastic foundation for your long and successful Mercedes-Benz sales career.

Training will be block release, taking place at Mercedes-Benz Head Office in Milton Keynes and their Truck Training Centre at Wentworth Park, Barnsley.

You will be taught everything there is to know about Mercedes-Benz Trucks and how to sell them. This knowledge will give you a fantastic grounding for your sales career with Ciceley Commercials Ltd.

We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated individual who enjoys a challenge and is not afraid to put in the effort for the long-term rewards.

You must be a natural communicator with a strong attention to detail.

Ideally you will have previous experience within a sales environment or an area of the commercial vehicle industry, but this is not essential.

Main responsibilities
During your on the job learning you will be expected to:

Absorb product knowledge for the range to become a product expert with the ability to advise customers based on their requirements
Spend time in all areas of the Ciceley business, Service, Parts, Marketing, Sales Support etc. to understand the full customer journey and the support and benefits that each department provides
Shadow current Sales Consultants both truck and van to learn from experienced members of the team, gaining an understanding on how to sell Ciceley as well as the truck
Conduct prospecting activities to create opportunities to quote and sell
Record all activity and quotes in CRM system
Help to maintain truck displays, ensuring all are clean and displayed according to Mercedes-Benz and Ciceley requirements
Attend customer handovers with a Driver Trainer to gain further product knowledge and see the products from the driver's perspectives
Spend time in a placement with a customer, out in the cab with the driver to understand what is important for drivers day to day

Progression & opportunities

On graduation from the Mercedes-Benz FASTTrack programme you will have the option to move into a full-time sales role where you will have access to our generous commission and bonus schemes along with a Mercedes-Benz company vehicle.

Desirable Criteria

Previous sales experience in any industry
