Trainee Supply Chain Coordinator
Hybrid Recruit are seeking a new member to add to our clients' supply chain team. The position will be responsible for sourcing the correct/best supplier for all incoming orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for highlighting opportunities with current/new suppliers.


Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, significant attention will be paid to profitability/service standard of your chosen suppliers as this will be the key indicator of performance in the role.


Responsibilities of the Trainee Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Sourcing the best supplier for incoming orders.
  • Ensuring profitability on all orders.
  • Consistent improvement of supply chain.
  • Communicating to the wider team any issues/developments with orders.
  • Communicating with suppliers when placing orders.
  • Working effectively with other departments within the business, showing respect for all other team members.

Requirements of the Trainee Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Fast paced and enthusiastic work ethic
  • Commercially aware and profit driven with an ability to negotiate consistently.
  • Competent IT skills
  • Competitive nature
  • Business/IT qualifications preferred not essential.
