Sales Administrator
South Site


The role:

Supporting the Sales and Despatch Manager with the day-to-day running of the sales administration process.

A primary link between our company and our customers, this role requires you to be a highly organised individual with

the main aim of helping to maintain Cross Manufacturing as a leading global supplier.


Duties and Responsibilities:
-


  • Manage the sales order processing including customer quotations, purchase orders and schedules within the
South Site facility.

  • Support and assist the Production manager and Production controller in reviewing purchase orders, schedule
changes and amendments. Be capable of issuing the required documentation for manufacturing such as works

orders and drawings.

  • As part of a small team including the despatch department, a level of flexibility is required to support colleagues.
  • Attend and contribute to department meetings, advising production control of priority parts and customer
requirements.

  • Liaise closely with the engineering, QA and despatch departments to ensure parts are manufactured to the
correct specifications to achieve on time delivery.

  • Be responsible for:
Drawing issue control - process both customer and Cross drawings / amendments updating the ERP

system where necessary.

Set up new items and when required update existing routes / BOM's in line with engineering changes.

Filing and archiving of customer purchase orders

  • Actively support and strive to achieve the objectives as defined in the South Site strategy map CMR2030.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
-


  • Experience in a similar customer facing role preferred.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred but not essential)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Share point.

Further Information:

  • 37 hours per week
  • The position will be on a day shift work pattern but requires the individual to be flexible with hours
