Description

St Georges Lodge Residential Care Home in Worthing, is looking for a skilled maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks, such as repairs and cleaning.

You will be responsible for the maintenance across the home and any other adhoc duties required by management, to help keep the home running smoothly.


Duties:


  • Minor property repairs to include, decorating, plumbing repairs, water testing.
  • Clean and maintain the facility's grounds and building common areas
  • Pat Testing
  • Deep cleaning (i.e. carpet shampooing)
  • Work as a team member to complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Gardening
  • IT / Internet issues / Telecoms issues
  • Other duties may be assigned by St Georges Lodge Residential Care Home management as needed.

Skills:


  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
This role is working Monday to Friday, 8AM - 4PM.


Salary: 28k per annum.


Salary:
£28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
