Description

The role entails:

  • Investigate complex Cyber Security enquiries providing assistance & advice as required
  • Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Cyber Security team
  • Prepare reports and demonstrate compliance, risks and issues to give health board assurance
  • Monitors internal and external threat environment
  • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
  • Analyses complex ICT incidents and problems that have the potential to disrupt or deny access to clinical and operational ICT Services Health Board wide

Essential experience:

  • A strong academic background to degree level or equivalent experience in a directly related role
  • A related professional certification, for example; Certified Information systems security professional (CISSP), certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Solid IT and/or technology background
  • ITIL Foundation or PRINCE
  • At least 3 years working in an IT based role preferably in a security related area
  • Knowledge of desktop and mobile devices and operating systems
