Who are we?


Essex Professional Coaching have been providing high quality physical education and multisport activities to primary schools and individuals since 2017.


Our mission is to engage and inspire children and young people to take part in PE & Sport and live an active lifestyle.


Due to our continued growth, we are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic PE professional or Sports Coaches, to join our team full time and make a positive difference to children's lives on a daily basis.

This includes delivering across our school sport and holiday camp programmes across Colchester and the surrounding areas.

Key Roles/Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, engaging PE lessons & extra curricular clubs
  • Complete termly assessments and reports of pupils
  • Support & upskill primary school teachers to develop confidence and competence in delivering PE
  • Deliver fun and engaging activities at our multisport holiday camps
  • Liaise with teachers and parents to build positive rapport to assist with promoting EPC products and services
Skills, Experience & Qualifications required


The successful applicant:

  • Will demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for sport and physical education
  • Have experience of teaching and learning in physical education in Primary school, with knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Ideally have one of the following: Sport related honours degree in physical education or coaching or Level 3 diploma in supporting the Delivery of Physical Education in Primary Schools
  • Level 2 award in multi skills development or relevant NGB level 2 coaching qualification
  • Have own transport, and be prepared to travel up to 30 mins

Benefits:


  • Fulltime employment, 37.5 hours per week

  • Basic salary from £20,000pa

How can you reach us?

Interview Stages

After shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 3 stage interview process:

  • Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you in more detail
  • Practical Delivery - If successful in stage 1 you will then be required to plan and deliver a session at one of our partner schools/camps based on a Lesson Objective provided by our team
  • Formal Interview - The final stage is an in person formal interview to discuss your suitability for the role
