Description
Metal Solutions Ltd are a well-established manufacturer and supplier of roofing & cladding products.

We produce a wide range of fabrications in copper, zinc, aluminium, steel & stainless steel.


As a growing business we are looking for a competent Warehouse Cleaner/Picker/Packer to join our team at our busy manufacturing workshop in Bolton.


Responsibilities:


  • Warehouse cleaning/house keeping duties (general cleaning duties including use of pedestrian controlled sweeper).
  • Picking/packing of orders for dispatch to the construction industry (roofing products)
  • Building pallets and crates to protect fragile materials during transit
  • Effective use of a heat shrink wrap system
  • Metal coil banding
  • Checking, sorting and storing incoming palletised goods when needed
  • Taking personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others
  • Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality / standard
  • Complete training as required by the business including certified training
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as reasonably required

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required

  • Warehouse experience
  • Commercial warehouse cleaning experience
  • Experience of using hand powered tools and saws

Hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4.30pm (45 hour working week)


Salary:
£9.00-£10.00 per hour
