Due to an increase in workload we are in the position of recruiting a
Project
Engineering Manager to join our vibrant team based in
Manchester.

The Engineering Manager provides multi-discipline engineering team leadership and coordination across the engineering project lifecycle.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities

  • As a client facing, Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering design on major projects through the various of stage of the project life cycle to meet the project schedule, budget, safety and quality requirements.
  • Ensuring that Engineering resource requirements are identified and effectively utilised to allow execution of projects in accordance with the project requirements and targeting for maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Management of Project Engineering on Projects monitoring delivery performance, giving advice and direction to ensure that the discipline delivers multidiscipline engineering design projects that are safebydesign, sustainable, digitally enabled, costeffective, compliant, technically sound and meet commercial delivery targets
  • Work collaboratively with business development, work winning and marketing functions to develop and tender new opportunities
  • Act parttime in a lead project engineering role on FEED or detailed design engineering projects
  • Able to demonstrate cross discipline engineering understanding and interactions for engineering, procurement and project management
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Project Controls, including Schedule, Cost, Risk and Change Management
  • Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
  • Coordination of Engineering and Design interfaces between Costain and other project partners / supply chain partners
  • Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs

Right to Work & Security Checks
