LAC Social Worker/Senior Practitioner - Outstanding Ofsted - Hybrid


NonStop consulting are working with an Outstanding Ofsted local authority in the East for a Social Worker to join their Looked After Children team.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people, who would be ableto integrate smoothly into their team & become a part of their stable & supportive working environment.


This team offers hybrid working, meaning you can manage your own case load & diary - allowing you to maximise your time at home and create a fantastic work life balance.


The local authority has an Outstanding Ofsted, this is reflective of their good practice, allowing you to know you have the satisfaction of knowing you're making a positive impact to the lives of those you're helping.

Some responsibilities of this role include;

  • Supporting stable relationships with carers, plan for appropriate placements.
  • Support young people to return to families.
  • Keep team manager updated about risks to children and young people.
  • Identify the need of the children in your care & work with the relevant agencies and parties to ensure that the greatest standard of care and assistance is given to those in need of support.

Requirements:


  • A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
  • A drivers license
  • An up to date DBS check
