We are pleased to announce that we are currently advertising aBand 7 Senior Paediatric Metabolic Dietitian, 1.0 WTE fixed termpost for a period of 8 months.

If you have had some experience in paediatric metabolic dietetics - this may be the job for you. Training will be provided.


The Evelina London Children's Hospital continues to grow and now has a team of more than 39 Paediatric Dietitians and Dietetic assistants.

The Paediatric Dietitians are part of the wider Nutrition and Dietetic department at Guy's and St Thomas' providing opportunities to participate in research and audit, service development and student training.

The Paediatric Metabolic Dietitian is a member of the dietetic and multidisciplinary metabolic team.

You will play a key role in the nutritional management of this patient group and will provide highly specialist advice, education and support to patients, carers and other health professionals within the multidisciplinary team.

In addition you will actively be involved in the trusts clinical governance programme and quality agenda framework for ensuring continuing professional development, audit and research activities within this specialist area.


Evelina London cares for local children in Lambeth and Southwark and provides specialist services across south east England including cardiac, renal and critical care services.

We lead a number of specialist service networks aiming to ensure children are treated locally where possible, but have access to specialist expertise when they need it.

Our community services include health visiting, school nursing and support for families of children with longterm conditions.


Our adult community services teams deliver care at the heart of the local communities we serve, working in partnership with GPs, local authorities and other healthcare and voluntary sector organisations.


In 2019 we combined adult community services with acute medicine and therapy services to create Integrated Care, a new strategic business unit.

Working with Metabolic Paediatric Band 7, 0.6 WTE our partners in Lambeth and Southwark, we are focusing on new ways of working to improve care for local patients.
