Description
Ability to monitor and analyse complex patient activity data, interpreting and comparing information around trend analysis. Skilled in extracting and validating complex and sensitive data.

Comprehensive and practical experience of hospital/health care IT systems, ideally including PAS waiting list functions, excellent knowledge of PAS, Maxims, RADAR and other databases as required.

Ability to formulate and implement solutions to areas of concern with regard to data quality, accuracy and/or compliance with NHS targets.

Experience of waiting list management, with an understanding of the NHS Constitution, local and national targets. Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet all relevant deadlines. Ability to deal with verbally abusive and distressing situations.

You will be required to communicate with a wide range of disciplines and possess an aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.

Supervise workloads across the PCS team and carrying out duties appropriate to the role. Provide guidance to PCS Team, giving on the job training and advice as appropriate. Undertake to provide administrative support as necessary to the PCS clinical team.

To understand the complete range of administration functions, responsibilities and duties both routine and non-routine to contribute to the effective delivery of patient care, through knowledge of hospital systems and consultant practice.


Bring to the attention of the clinical staff all results in a timely manner and promptly act on any instructions given regarding these.
