Description
This exciting role will support the delivery and ongoing management of the Innovation Lab within our offices in London.

Reporting to the Innovation Lab Lead this role will work closely with the business through its engagements with clients whilst sharing our innovative developments and building a broader network for the firm.

This role will provide exposure to contacts withing all Service Lines.

You'll be part of a wider team, taking responsibility for the work you do and will have an important role in the development and governance of Innovation Lab offerings.


The role will also work closely with different services lines at Mazars as they engage with clients within the business to share innovative and engaging insights and support with design thinking and ideation.

You'll also get the opportunity to explore new technologies and engage with strategic vendors, educational partnerships, and other relevant institutions.

This may also include links to Innovate UK and the broader UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).


Whilst the role will be required to engage in London there will be connections to the wider UK offices through the virtual Innovation Lab and with the international Innovation Hubs.

The UK offices will lead many innovation events, and these will be owned by the Innovation Lab.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Host Innovation Services such as design thinking workshops, ideation workshops, and exploration sessions
  • Support service lines and business stakeholders on Innovation methodology to elicit data, ideate, and design experiments.
  • Demonstrate new innovation technology which is available through our Mazars innovation pipeline
  • Plan and drive relevant events (e.g., roundtables, innovation series, demonstrations etc.)
  • Develop and share use cases and success stories of innovation in the business
  • Manage a community of Innovation Champions across multiple locations that are bringing our Virtual Innovation Lab to life
  • Keep up to date with developments in emerging technologies, assessing these and contributing your own ideas.
  • Work with our Business Technology services team to ensure the management of an innovation asset register
  • Manage a corporate calendar & booking system for the Innovation Lab services & events
  • Create content on our products with Marketing for internal and external clients

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, with an excellent working knowledge of Excel
  • Experienced with client engagements and the ability to solve problems with clients.

  • Takes a pragmatic approach to resolving situations, using own initiative where appropriate and adaptable to meet changing business requirements.

Given the importance of the Innovation Lab as a physical environment, there will understandably be a requirement for a presence within the office.

This will need to be managed to ensure that an appropriate level of cover is always maintained to meet the needs of the firm, team and clients.
