Performance Joinery Limited (PJL) - A timber-based joinery manufacturer producing door frames, skirting, architrave, glazed screens and other associated joinery products.

Continued significant investment has allowed the teams to establish two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants based in the East Midlands.

These two bright modern facilities provide over 100,000sqft of manufacturing space and have been designed to include 'all-new' high efficiency processing centres including the latest in CNC engineering, high precision through feed cutting equipment, a revolutionary robotic surface coating system together with the latest in post-forming technology allowing us to wrap both high impact PVC's and laminates to doors and frames alike.


With the capacity to produce 1000+ Doorsets per week, the IDSL group of companies is working with major National and Regional contractors as well as key joinery Sub-Contractors to deliver crafted products and services throughout the United Kingdom and beyond.


Having recently installed over 2300 solar panels to our Millennium Business Park plant, the business is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and is actively engaged in a Carbon Reduction Plan against PAS 2060, the internationally applicable specification for the demonstration of carbon neutrality.

Summary of Role:


  • Support the accounts manager with the day to day operations of valued key accounts.
  • Development of new key accounts as well as management of existing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Maximising business growth within key accounts.
  • Interpreting customer information into compliant quotations or costing options.
  • Work closely with all areas of the business to ensure effective delivery of customer requirements on time.
  • Proactive and clear communication.

KPI's:


  • Sales input against set targets.
  • Quotations returned in line with customer expectations.
  • Non-Conformance in line with the business expectations.
  • Conversion Rates in line with the business expectations.

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Selfmotivated and organised individual that also offers excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong teamplayer with a drive to succeed.
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work.
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience of estimating or account management, however training will be given.
  • Understanding of Doors and Door sets, nonetheless training will be given.
  • Technical understanding of Ironmongery would be beneficial.
  • Advanced / Excellent Excel knowledge, V look up, Formulas, Pivot tables.
  • Detail orientated.
