We currently have a great opportunity for an
Upholstery Frame Builder & Prepper to join our production team working from our manufacturing site in Warrington which manufactures various high quality commercial soft seating and ancillary products.

Key to the role is selecting, prepping, and assembling furniture frames on a daily basis in accordance with quality standards.


The Role:


  • Responsible for constructing upholstery frames for furniture and other items
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Utilise a variety of tools and equipment, including saws, drills, routers, and other power tools
  • Utilise hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and screwdrivers
  • Assemble and fasten components of frames with nails, screws and glue.
  • Install webbing and foam as required
  • Repair and maintain upholstery frames, including webbing and foams as needed
  • Ensure all upholstery frames meet industry standards and customer specification
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

The Person:


  • Excellent knowledge of woodworking and tools
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and accurately
  • Knowledge of wood types and characteristics
  • Ability to measure accurately and cut materials to size
  • Ability to assemble components according to plan
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
