Introduction:


Our client is currently seeking Consultants who have experience implementing and setting up project controls and project/programme management processes, procedures and tools on complex and major programmes in the Defence and Critical National Infrastructure domains.


Our client is implementing a new digital platform which integrates with existing Project Management tools, and they are looking for people that can help set this up for successful delivery with their clients.

A consultancy background is desirable but it is essential that you have set up P3M processes from scratch in large and complex organisations


Working Pattern: - 2 days per week on site, the rest of the work can be done remotely.

Key responsibilities:


  • Implement project controls processes covering multiple project controls functions (scope, schedule, cost, risk, performance reporting).
  • Implement digital project management platforms and work with clients to ensure success.
  • Lead the design and development of major programmes, including programme strategy and set up.
  • Support transformation workstreams including the development of plans, managing critical paths and interdependencies to deliver major change successfully.
  • Support the growth of client relationships.

Skills & experience:


  • Experience setting up project/programme controls from scratch and implementing the processes for large and complex organisations.
  • Experience implementing digital project management and controls tools.
  • Experience training on and delivering P3M processes and procedures.
  • Ability to develop plans across workstreams and manage of critical paths, dependencies, reports and risks in a project.
  • Have worked across delivery/operating model design, commercial model structure, definition and mapping of programme outcomes.
  • Consultancy experience desirable.
