£28,000 per annum
Monday to Friday pm, Flexibility to work from home.
Join our Specification Team at The Compleat Food Group in Nottingham, where your expertise will be pivotal in crafting and delivering both new and existing product specifications.
You'll play a crucial role in designing brand and customer specifications that not only meet but exceed our high standards and legal labeling criteria.
Contributing in providing top-notch administrative support to our group-wide functions.
You will respond to customer requests and queries with professionalism and efficiency, making a significant impact in our continuous journey towards excellence in the food industry.
What you will be doing:
- Working to the latest labelling guidelines and our customer codes of practice you will:
- Complete and maintain Customer Specifications and portal systems in line with customer category plans and our company agenda covering raw materials, packaging, and legality aspects.
- Undertake the completion of paperwork for the product development team and wider business when required.
- Lead the artwork process at site level and support group in order to produce legal packaging in line with retailer and industry standards
- You will ensure that specification information is accurately written and updated in a timely manner. Ensuring they align with customer critical paths and grouplevel projects.
- Working with various functions, such as Procurement, Technical, Development, and the Packaging teams, you will be responsible for ensuring they have accurate and uptodate raw material and packaging supplier information.
- Manage the specification administration process from concept through to delisting of products.
- Conduct annual specification reviews for your site and support other sites where required.
- Follow the assigned critical path for delivering customer specifications and raising flags about potential deadline concerns.
- Support development managers and chefs in recipe formulation, legal labelling, QUIDs and submission forms when required. Use "Recipe Professor" system where required
- Support artwork meetings and as necessary internal customer meetings.
- Support in customer/audit visits to site from a customer specification perspective
Experience:
- Some customer specification system experience
- HACCP / Food Safety Training
- Meat analysis experience
- Critical path management
- Food manufacturing experience within an FMCG environment
- HACCP / Food Safety Training
