Overview:

AM2PM Recruitment are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance for our client based in Grimsby.

The pay rate is £30k-£32k per annum

Working hours are Monday-Friday.


About the business:

AM2PM Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer for our client based in Grimsby.

Our client are a well established, leading international provider of seafood products, with over 20 years experience in their industry.


As a Quality Assurance Office, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the technical requirements applicable to the factory aspect of the business.

Working alongside the Technical Manager, you will work to ensure all legal requirements of the company are continuously met whilst upholding the quality of products to the customer.


Roles & Responsilbities:

Implement and maintain procedures relating to factory production.

Secondly, Internally audit processes and procedures in order to help maintain, update, and produce product specifications as required.

Fourth, Monitor product assessments against specifications and implement validation of hygiene.

Sixth, Co-ordinate all samples for customers, ensuring paperwork and labelling is correct.

Seventh, Assist in investigations for internal and external non-conformances and prepare preventive actions and formal responses.

Eighth, Be responsible for legal requirements of labelling, packaging and analysis of trading of sea food and pet products.

Ninth, Ensure labelling is up to date and compliant and accurately any maintain paperwork.

Tenth, Support in implementation of new GFSI certification for food safety in factory.

Eleventh, Maintain and support HACCP principles.

Twelfth, Ensure pre-operational hygiene audits are completed.

Thirtieth, Conduct scheduled traceability exercises, using company ERP System to maintain traceability

Fourteenth, Perform checks on additional pet food site including but not excluding scale verifications paperwork and T1/T2 weigh checks.


Lastly, Work with the factory manage and admin personnel for any additional technical needs as well as staff for training needs.

As stated above, the payrate is is £30k-£32k per annum depending on experience.

Working hours are Monday-Friday.
