  • Hourly pay rate: 19.68 PAYE / £25.05 Umbrella
  • Shifts: 07:00AM 16:00PM (Flexibility to work shifts)

  • Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.
Position Summary- Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).

  • Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required.
  • Maintain inspection records per component, assembly and vehicle.
  • Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.
  • Participate in customer joint inspections.
  • Preparation of approval and shipping documents.
  • Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager, Industrial Quality Engineer & or Site Industrial Quality Manager
Person Profile/Experience- Strong experience in a quality/manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar role.

  • Previous experience being able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment.
  • Good knowledge of problemsolving tools and product specification.
  • Strong background in Practical Problem Solving and Route Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in operational activities, in documentation management & collaboration and team working.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI,) and quality tools.

Qualifications:


  • Degree qualified or apprenticeship to HNC level supported by strong practical experience.
