We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable
Mid-Day Supervisor to join a lovely
Primary school in
Leicester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the school community and contribute to the well-being and safety of students during their lunchtime period.

This role will start
ASAP and is **Monday-Friday

12:0013:15** each day.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the wellbeing of students during lunchtime, both in the dining area and the playground.
Promote and maintain a safe and inclusive environment, fostering positive behaviour and respectful interactions among students.
Encourage and facilitate healthy eating habits and good table manners among students.
Assist students with their meals, including serving and supporting those with specific dietary requirements or additional needs.
Organise and coordinate engaging activities, games, and sports to promote active play and social interaction.
Respond promptly and appropriately to any accidents, incidents, or conflicts that may occur, following school policies and procedures.
Collaborate with teaching staff and other midday supervisors to maintain consistent supervision standards and address any concerns or challenges.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and student behaviour, reporting any significant incidents to the appropriate person.

Requirements:

Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
A warm and approachable demeanour, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and diffuse challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Reliable and punctual, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
Basic first aid knowledge or willingness to undergo first aid training.
A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their wellbeing.
