Salary:
HC06 £24,054 - £27,852 (pro-rata £12,027 - £13,926)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Support Officer.

  • This demanding yet highly rewarding role will suit a motivated and flexible individual with excellent attention to detail and an ability to interact confidently at all levels.
  • You will have organisational, communication and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise a workload and work under pressure to deadlines.
  • Following a supportive induction process, you will work alongside a small team of Senior Business Support Officers and be part of the duty rota to ensure that all daily tasks are allocated appropriately.
  • You will also provide a quality assurance service by continually reviewing guidance notes for tasks undertaken by Business Support Officers. Working across the Community Wellbeing Directorate, the role will play a key part in establishing and moulding the business support model and ensuring its adoption throughout a wide range of functions across the directorate, which currently include teams such as Adult Social Care and Commissioning Services.
The Senior Business Support officer will work closely with the Business Support Manger to ensure that there is- An enhanced focus on service delivery

  • Staff skills and abilities are utilised to achieve the best service possible and where a culture of 'can do' is embraced
  • Grow our own culture, where the staff and team grow and develop; providing a motivated, trained and flexible work force supporting the Community Wellbeing Directorate priorities.
