Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Fleet Services team. You will learn how to service vehicles such as cars, vans, and plant, and carry out routine maintenance. You will be involved in diagnosing faults and repairing them.

The apprenticeschip programme is a level 3 Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician - light vehicle / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

Training lasts 3 years.

You will have an interest in the automative industry and show an ability to use computerised systems and database packages.

Please see the Guidance Notes on how to address the points in the personal specification when writing your personal statement.

You will need qualifications in English and Maths GCSE grade C / level 4 or above, or functional skills level 2.

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.

For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship's English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.

A British Sign Language (BSL) qualification is an alternative to the English qualification for those whose primary language is BSL.
