Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Birmingham based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on an initial six month temporary basis, offering an immediate start.

You will be working as part of a dynamic payroll function which is responsible for taking ownership of weekly and month payrolls from start to finish for 1000+ employees.

This position offers hybrid working.

Daily duties and experience required includes:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience working within a payroll department
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Calculating holiday and national insurance
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Pensions knowledge
  • Manual calculations experience
  • Query resolution
  • Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
