Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within the Packaging / Logistics industry.


An opportunity that offers the chance to be part of a well-funded start-up / scale up business that produces an innovative, environmentally friendly and sustainable product.


Do you have a background and contacts within the Packaging / Logistics sector that you could approach on the basis of trialling new products, that are already in use in the US and are on trial with one of the world's largest Logistics and International Couriercompanies.


Main Responsibilities:


  • To deliver on assigned sales targets.
  • Develop relevant connections across the logistics sector, identifying and nurturing relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Gain and document a full understanding of customer's needs, liaise with the wider team to communicate these requirements to progress opportunities.
  • Support marketing teams and customers where required to build business use cases for a reusable product versus single use.
  • Creation of a sales pipeline within the logistics sector.
  • Building Companies brand and position in the logistics sector through attendance at conferences/tradeshows.
  • Accurate recording of customer details and opportunities, report on income generation with forecasting using the company CRM system.
  • Creation of customer proposals, working alongside the Financial Director to generate pricing based on requirements.
  • Retain customer relationship throughout project delivery process, becoming a key point of contact.
  • Knowledge & experience of working within the logistics sector, the working practices and current challenges of this industry
  • Experience: 3+ year's experience in a sales role with a proven track record
  • Confidence: the ability to maintain a level of poise and selfassurance in all communications
  • Tenacity: with an ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Active listening: understanding the customers' needs
  • Interpersonal skills: relationship building and account management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: ability to recognise and convert business opportunities and a desire for continual selfimprovement
  • Adaptable the ability to work using own initiative
  • IT Literate: Proficient using MS Office programmes and cloud based systems such as Capsule
  • Experience working in a product development business, or within the logistics sector is beneficial
