Accounts and Business Administrator, Oxford, UK


Understanding the complex 3D architecture of biological structures is essential for driving forward innovation enabling ground-breaking steps forward in treatments for disease and disorder and is also rapidly being adopted as a valuable tool in other research areas.

At ConnectomX we have pioneered a revolutionary 3D electron microscopy technology which is now being utilised by scientists globally to visualise 3D ultrastructure's which are vital to further understanding in multiple areas including life science and material research.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts and Business Administrator to join our small team.

The role will require a dynamic individual, who is excellent at problem solving and working autonomously.

A significant part of the role will be to work with a team of engineers to help manage the administrative side of the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage company's accounts using Xero: transaction reconciliations, expense claims, purchase orders and payroll.
  • Support sales team with quotation, invoicing and shipping notes
  • Organise shipping and import/export documentations
  • Assist sales orders by inputting customer details into Zoho for processing
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure on time materials delivery and fault resolution.
  • Manage company's stocks and check in new deliveries
  • Help with producing marketing materials, provide prompt updates to website and company's X account.

Your Profile:


  • Have great organisational and time management skills
  • Competent with Google Docs and building websites
  • Experience with Xero and Zoho is highly desirable
  • Have excellent problemsolving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude to help the business to grow.
  • Be able to work to deadlines
  • Be able to multitask

Benefits
This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week.

In addition to a competitive salary, ConnectomX offers flexible working hours, hybrid working, 25 days annual leave and personal pension plan.
