Bright Orthodontics is a state-of-the-art NHS/Private specialist group of orthodontic practices.
We are currently looking for a full-time
Front of House Patient Services Assistant to join our team in our Widnes Practice.
Key task and responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting patients when working front of house,
- Handle treatment documentation including forms and laboratory work,
- Talking to patients in person and over the phone,
- Managing phone calls, booking, and changing patient appointments,
- Help maintain the patient records with attention to detail to ensure they are completed correctly,
- Ability to abide by strict data security and protection standards,
- Maintain patient confidentiality and put patients first at all times,
- Assist with processing NHS referrals, data input, contacting patients and booking appointments,
- Work with the team to ensure that every patient has a 5star experience through facetoface appointments, online engagement and by telephone.

- Effective communication skills are necessary, including responding to the patients' needs, good listening skills, and empathy towards nervous patients.
- Ability to work on own initiative,
- Ability to work as a part of a team, sharing jobs/responsibilities/work roles and supporting each other daily,
- Desire & commitment to undertake further training as appropriate,
- Excellent time management, prioritisation of tasks and organisational skills,
- Proactive in helping the business grow,

Skills required for this role:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills,
- Good telephone manner and an ability to resolve problems and manage conflict,
- Experience in working in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment,
- Team worker and ability to problem solve / use initiative,
- Proficient in computer/IT skills.
Experience/ Qualifications:
- Experience in a frontline customer service role including telephone, online and face to face communication (essential),
- Use of IT software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams (essential),
- Experience in reception/admin roles within a dental / GP practice (desirable).

Hours:
Full-time hours to be discussed at the interview.
The rewards:
- Salary dependent on skill set and experience (£24,000£26,000)
