The Personal Assistant role purpose is to support the effective leadership of hospital leadership team by provision of organisational and administrative support to the Director, including acting as an effective gatekeeper, hosting and acting as the primary contact for all enquiries, managing and coordinating all diary and travel commitments, organising and administering key management and governance meetings, compilation of management reports, and providing overall assistance in the day-to-day running of the directors responsibilities.
The opportunity
Act as ambassador for the senior leadership internally and externally
To act as first point of contact for key stakeholders taking actions as necessary to manage accordingly
Filter, redirect and respond to Director's telephone calls/written correspondence as necessary. These may often be of a complex or confidential nature requiring tact and diplomacy
Facilitate travel/facilities requirements for visitors
The person
Proven administrative/secretarial experience supporting Middle/Senior management level in a complex fast paced environment
Experienced in working in responsive way and the ability to take initiative
Able to work accurately - with good attention to detail especially with reports and meeting minutes
Highly proficient and highly creative in MS Desktop packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS SharePoint and Outlook 2010/2016 (mail, calendar and databases), Intranet/Web.
Track record of first-class communications skills both written and verbal with a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
Ability to deal with individuals at all levels of seniority both within Nuffield Health and externally, to facilitate the achievement of objectives

48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
28 consultation rooms
Three digital operating theatres
Cardiac catheterisation lab
Specialist intensive care beds
8 bay Oncology day unit
Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
